Birthday and Mother's Day celebration!

On May 9, 2015, Galperin & Friends took over Silvana in West Harlem for a few hours and had a grand time celebrating my birthday and Mother's Day Eve. On stage with me were Patrick Carmichael on drums, Bryan Percivall on bass, Reinaldo DeJesus on percussion, and Carl Riehl on accordion. We got the crowd up on their feet dancing and singing along with us, and I can't wait to play this terrific club again soon!

Holiday Bash at The Bitter End

My Fifth Annual Holiday Spectacular (and CD release party) on Dec. 5, 2014 was a fun night at the world-famous Bitter End in Greenwich Village. Joining me on stage was Andy Blanco on drums, Carl Riehl on accordion, Ben Gallina on bass, and Sarah Aili on background vocals. We debuted songs from the new CD "Just Might Get It Right", and played a bunch of old favorites too!

Nashville Cats!

In June and July, 2014 I made several trips down to Nashville to record new material at the 515 Studio. I'd heard that the house band was pretty good, but I had no idea how good they'd actually be. Amazing players (Rod Lewis on bass, Dane Bryant on keyboards, Tim Grogan on drums, and Smith Curry on pedal steel, slide guitar, and dobro), and incredible production input from Chip Hardy. The five new songs we recorded ended up being my new CD "Just Might Get It Right." I'm really looking forward to my next recording adventure down south at the 515!
